Legendary pianist and composer Rami Bar-Niv takes his camp to many places across America and internationally. We are honored to host his sought-after camp here in Rochester, NY.

For Pianists of All Levels
Held in multiple locations on the West and East coast across the US since 2007, from San-Francisco, CA, Washington DC to Utica, NY, this time the camp will take place in Rochester, New York hosted by Newbrough Piano Academy.
Camp is suitable for adult piano players of all levels, from complete beginners to professional performers and piano teachers. Students will learn the secrets of piano virtuosity and musicianship, overcome bad habits through receiving guidance of interpretation through the balance between mind and heart and by applying the five pillars of piano playing techniques. Other important topics include performance joy vs performance anxiety, teaching students, reading music and sight-reading, memorization and more. The camp has an informal and non-competitive and fun atmosphere.
About Rami
Rami Bar-Niv is an international concert pianist and composer. He graduated from the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel Aviv, where he studied piano with Karol Klein and composition with Paul Ben-Haim, Alexander Boskovitch, and Ödön Pártos.

“My favorite of the evening activities was the masterclass/ recital rehearsal led by Rami the night before our recital. We had to go through our routine and perform as if it were the real thing. However, Rami asked everyone to comment on each others’ playing. Everyone got to say something about everyone else. The bonding and sense of community among the students was incredible. And, of course, we all had a master pianist/composer/teacher as our mentor throughout that week. I can’t wait to attend the next one.”
