About Newbrough Piano Academy

Newbrough Piano Academy exists to preserve the classical tradition of music making and prepare students for a career in music by offering affordable, conservatory-quality piano training from artists for all ages and levels.

We are the only studio in the area that, musicality and technique-wise, can take a student from the first note and bring them up to being a seasoned performer. For parents, it's always the best investment and value for their money regardless, because our students learn to play correctly right from the start.

Newbrough Piano Studio originated in Houghton, NY. In 2022, the studio was located in the Mann-Owen historic building in Penfield, NY, and received two prominent business chamber awards in one year. In 2024, we moved to Pittsford, NY, and became Newbrough Piano Academy.

Our studio has a studio mascot penguin.

Our Programs

Foundational Piano

This program offers basic piano education and teaches general piano skills for everyone who wants to learn to play piano the right way from the beginning.

Advanced Training

This program is for those who are serious about their piano playing and want to go deeper. They will study advanced piano technique and will be guided in the winning repertoire.

Career & Competition

This individualized instruction helps students to polish their advanced skills and eliminate their problem areas and prepares for national and international piano competitions.

We offer piano lessons to the general public and talented youth by giving them opportunities to learn from true artists and professionals and to perform on Steinway pianos so that they can become better pianists and be prepared for a career in music.
