Ilona Syvak, BA
Piano and Young Children’s Instructor
Ilona Syvak is a Ukrainian pianist, a native of Bakivka, Ukraine. She graduated from Drogobitsy State Music School named after Vasyl Barvinsky and the Institute of Mysteries at the Prykarpattia National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk. She worked as a piano teacher at the Dolinsk Children's School of Arts named after Miroslav Antonovich where she taught her students piano and trained them for competitions and concerts.
In addition to her pianist career, Ilona loves to organize music and cultural events, stays culturally active and enjoys Ukrainian folklore.
She, her husband and their two children moved to Rochester in 2023 and are enjoying their new life here.
